La Maison Maille has its sights set on revolutionizing the way Canadians prepare meals. Expanding on the success of last year's Maille Bistro, the purveyor of fine mustard will host The Maille Flavour Studio in three cities across Canada this summer, giving visitors a one-of-a-kind culinary experience. This three city tour will be led by headmaster mustard sommelier, Harry Lalousis. Lalousis will be teaching Canadian home chefs how to ditch the cookbooks and cook from the heart.
At stops in Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal, The Maille Flavour Studio will offer three culinary workshops — sauces and dips; marinades and glazes; and also vinaigrettes. Each workshop will cover how to elevate everyday dishes into haute casual meals. Visitors will also have the opportunity to make their own flavoured mustards using fresh ingredients for $2, sample select mustards and cornichons at the Maille's signature Mustard Bar and purchase gourmet products and fresh mustard on tap at Maille’s pop-up shop (an experience typically reserved exclusively for customers at the Maille boutiques in Paris, Dijon, London, and New York)!
The Maille Flavour Studio tour will kick off in Toronto at Taste of Toronto running from June 23-26, followed by a stop in Vancouver at Columbia strEAT Food Truck Fest on August 20, and will finish up in Montreal at YUL EAT on labour day weekend, September 3 – 5.
