Spicy beef salad, Maille honey Dijon mustard.
Note : For this recipe, we chose to use sirloin steak but you could use the cut of your choice, even a duck breast.
With a peeler, peel the carrot and make some thin stripes.
Chop the hot chili pepper and the garlic. (Empty the chili pepper first).
Mince the radish and the French shallot, cut the tomatoes in halves.
Squeeze the lime and strain the juice.
Finely chop the cilantro and crush the peanuts.
Remove the hearts of the lettuce and cut into quarters.
In a mortar, put the garlic, the chili pepper and a pinch of sea salt, reduce to a paste. Add the lime juice, the Maille Honey Dijon Mustard, the oil and emulsify it.
Cut the meat in two pieces of 200 g, season it on both sides, in a hot pan with vegetable oil. Sear the meat on both sides for 2 minutes to get a nice coloration. Reserve it 5 minutes, cook to medium rare.
In a bowl, put all the vegetables with half of the sauce and mix it well.
Slice the beef in 1 cm strips. In a bowl, put a generous dome of salad, garnish with half of a sirloin; add some cilantro and peanuts, finish with a spoon of sauce.
If you like your dishes spicy, you could switch the Maille Honey Dijon Mustard for the Maille Extra Hot Dijon mustard.
