Maille® Mustard shrimp orzo pasta with roasted red pepper

A favourite of seafood lovers, sautéed shrimp laid on a bed of orzo pasta with roasted red pepper packs a punch of flavour.

Maille® Mustard shrimp orzo pasta with roasted red pepper

Ingredients

  • 1 regular package of Orzo
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 36 shrimps
  • ¼ cup French shallots, minced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ cup white wine
  • 2 Tbsp. Maille Dijon Originale Mustard
  • 6-8 roasted red peppers, from jar or can
  • ½ cup 35% cream

Preparation

Cook orzo as directed on the package and put aside.

In a skillet, heat over medium-high heat, oil and butter and sauté shrimp 3 minutes.

Add shallots and garlic. Cook 1 minute.

Deglaze with white wine and mustard.

Add red peppers, orzo and cream and mix well.
