Dutch Oven Chicken
This whole-roasted Dutch Oven Chicken is tender and moist when braised with honey mustard, cider vinegar, and lemon juice.
- 3 tbsp. Maille® Honey Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp. cider vinegar
- Juice of ½ of a lemon
- 3 lb. whole chicken

- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Combine Maille Honey Dijon, cider vinegar and lemon juice in small bowl. Evenly coat chicken with mustard mixture, then season, if desired, with salt and pepper.
- Arrange chicken in dutch oven or heavy casserole dish over medium-high heat and brown on all sides. Bake covered until chicken is thoroughly cooked, about 45 minutes.
Serve, if desired, with seasonal vegetables cooked in butter.
